The second week of the Season of the Splicer introduces a new seasonal activity called Override: Moon. This six-man offensive is similar to Override: Europa with a few changes. Here is a detailed walkthrough on how to start and complete the new seasonal activity.
STEP 1: Visit the H.E.L.M. to launch the activity from orbit. It is recommended to have a power level of 1300 and equip Unstoppable and Anti-Barrier mods against Champions.
STEP 2: Start by hacking into the Vex terminal at the Moon base. Enemies, including the Vex and Hive, will spawn in the area. Be prepared with a sword and watch out for Unstoppable Ogres.
STEP 3: Collect pink-colored motes dropped by enemies, similar to Override: Europa. Once enough motes are deposited, a Vex portal will open. Enter the portal to face more enemies and an Unstoppable Champion called the Scytale. Defeat the Scytale and pick up the Data Spike it drops. Deposit the Data Spike into the Vex terminal.
STEP 4: While collecting Data Spikes, the Vex will attempt to shut down the terminal using countermeasures. Defeat the enemies and Champions to prevent the shutdown. Shoot down the red security nodes to resume the splicing process. Repeat this step three times.
STEP 5: Enter the Vex network for the platforming stage. Jump across disappearing platforms and avoid laser traps. Use an upgrade from the Splicer Servitor to generate additional platforms. Bypass the security platforms to reach the boss room and face the Vex Gate Lord.
STEP 6: Defeat Portunos the Subjugated Mind in three phases. Use The Lament for massive damage. After each health bar depletion, you will be teleported to a different part of the Vex network. Kill the Unstoppable Ogre Scytale, pick up its dropped Data Spike, shoot down the floating Vex cubes, and deposit the Data Spike in the Vex terminal. Repeat this step two more times.
STEP 7: Collect your rewards. Two chests will spawn at the end of the activity, and you will need a Conflux Key to open the right chest. Hopefully, you will receive a god-roll weapon or high-stat armor.
More Override events will be launched throughout the Season of the Splicer. Override: Tangled Shore will begin on May 25th. The season also introduces a new storyline, a season pass Exotic weapon, and major gameplay changes. Stay tuned for more seasonal content from Bungie in the coming weeks.
