No More Heroes is an action-adventure hack and slash game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and Marvelous USA. Originally released for the Nintendo Wii, it has since been ported to the Switch and PC via Steam. Unfortunately, the PC port is quite basic and lacks support for keyboard and mouse. If you’re experiencing controller issues with No More Heroes, here’s how you can fix them.
The game has received a Mostly Positive rating on Steam, largely due to its limited PC options. Despite these limitations, PC players can now enjoy this title that was previously exclusive to consoles since 2007. There is a possibility that both games will be released on other consoles in the future. Additionally, as an older title, No More Heroes isn’t demanding in terms of system requirements.
To address controller issues in No More Heroes, some users have reported trouble getting their Dualshock 4, Xbox, or Switch controllers to work. However, this is easily fixable. Follow the methods below to resolve the problem:

f. Launch the game again, and the issue should be resolved.
2. Run the game as an administrator:

b. Open Steam and navigate to your library.
c. Find No More Heroes, right-click on it, and click on Manage, then select Browse local files.
d. In the game’s local files, right-click on the executable and go to Properties.
e. In the Compatibility tab, check Run this program as an administrator.
f. Launch the game and see if the controller recognition improves. If not, try disabling Steam Input as described above.
