Nier Replicant is a remaster of the original Nier that was originally released only in Japan. It features a different protagonist from the one playable in the Western release and other changes. PC players have been requesting a remaster for years, and Square Enix has finally delivered. However, similar to Nier Automata, the PC port of Nier Replicant has its issues. It lacks many features expected from a modern title and has numerous technical problems. If you’re experiencing Ultrawide issues on PC while playing Nier Replicant, you can follow these steps to fix them. We have previously covered other issues with the game, such as stuttering problems with controllers and FPS issues. Unfortunately, Nier Automata hasn’t received any patches in years, and we hope Nier Replicant doesn’t face the same fate. Square Enix’s poor optimization for PC is quite disappointing, as most of their titles are usually well-optimized for the platform.
